Conceived for road trips, family group rides, and expeditions in the backcountry, we took Kuat’s popular NV 2.0 hitch rack and expanded it. Kuat’s NV 2.0 Add-Ons have impressive features worth noting when you’re looking for a 3-bike or 4-bike hitch rack for your vehicle.
The 1-Bike Add-On increases the 2” NV 2.0 to a 3-bike hitch rack that will carry bikes, including electric bikes, weighing up to 50 pounds per bike. Similarly, the 2-Bike Add-On increases the 2” NV 2.0 to a 4-bike hitch rack that will carry bikes, including electric bikes, weighing up to 40 pounds per bike. Attach Kuat’s e-bike ramp (sold separately) and make loading and unloading heavy electric bikes effortless. On top of that, both Add-Ons will hold wheelbases up to 50” and tires as large as 5”.
Just like the NV 2.0 2-bike hitch rack, the Add-Ons have integrated cable locks long enough to fit any frame and keep your extra bikes safe and secure while in tow.
We can’t forget to mention one of the coolest features of the NV 2.0 2-bike hitch rack: the Trail Doc. Don’t fear, that little integrated repair stand easily moves with each tray you add. Simply remove the Trail Doc, install the Add-On, and reattach the Trail Doc to the outer tray end cap. Continuing to make field maintenance easy and convenient…as convenient as bike repairs can be.

Electric bike compatibility: This bike rack is all metal and can safely transport bikes and electric bikes weighing up to 60 lbs. per bike before Add-Ons.

- Adjustable Front Tire Cradle System: Bikes not wanting to share space nicely? Easily dial in the fit with adjustable tire scoops. With three positions to choose from, sidebar and seat post clearance are never an issue.
- Pedal Pivot: Fold your NV 2.0 up or down with the convenient patented foot pedal.
- Integrated Cable Locks: Integrated cable locks—long enough to reach most frames—can be looped through the rear triangle to help keep the bike secure. When not in use, they stow neatly back into the rack with a magnetic hold. One cable lock per bike.
- Trail Doc: Integrated repair stand makes field maintenance easy. Super simple twist-and-push clamp will hold your bike firmly while you give it a little TLC (Trail Love & Care).
